Nicodemus, Lord of Kilsoron, Master of Creation
His name is shrouded in mystery, whispered tales of limitless power, endless wisdom, and unbridled valor. Nicodemus is all these things, but what is strongest is his sense of justice and the bravery to follow it through.
His origin is rooted in the
depths of Creation itself. When the universe came into existence, an event commonly known
as "the Big Bang", energies were propelled across the new cosmos. These
energies, bits of raw power if you will, numbered in incredible amounts. They traveled to
specified areas of the cosmos and set to their tasks of maintaining and repairing the
Creation they were in. Some of them took humanoid form and settled on planets, primarily
Earth. Many came to be worshipped as gods by the civilizations of the times, the Greek
Zeus and the Babylonian Marduk being prime examples.
After many centuries, the
Creator took note that these energies would serve their task better if all were combined
instead of spread. So He saw that they were infused into a new being several millenia ago
- Nicodemus. He has lived ever since then in different bodies, being ReBorn over and over
into different cultures, ensuring progress and stability all the while. He has assumed
countless titles and honors, but prefers only two - Lord of Kilsoron, a realm of his own
design not far from Earth, and the Master of Creation, bestowed on him by The Creator
himself.
Kilsoron was destroyed, and
Nicodemus decided to change homes - to a planetship. His vessel is massive, half the size
of Earths moon, equipped with technology incorporating his magic to elevate it far
beyond any given standards of today. Christening his new home Kilsoron in remembrance, He
roams through space, but often stops in to see his friends.
Since he cannot permanently
die, he does not fear death. So he will be the first to rise against injustice or evil in
any form. He will be completely selfless for another's benefit. His sense of honor and
loyalty is immense, even to the point of overriding his own self-concern. So it goes
without saying that having him as a friend is a valuable asset, while having him as an
enemy is a grave error.
Nicodemus stands 7'1",
dark brown hair lightly streaked. Despite his immense age, his looks would be of someone
only about 33 years old. His build is strong, but can be cleverly concealed. He wears an
immaculate white evening suit with a crimson cloak, but will sometimes forsake it for his
battle armor or even a good leisure robe. He much prefers holding a root beer to a weapon,
but when the time comes, a wave of the hand is all that is needed to be ready. His weapon
of choice is a long staff, tipped at both ends with large ornate blades, much like those
on a halberd, named Paradox. Perfectly balanced, it can be used as an ordinary spinning
weapon or as a channel for his awesome power.
Nicodemus is a part of the
universe that surrounds us. He will always be there, whether someone wants him to be...or
not...
