GUIDELINES
NEW ADDITION: Ok, this is a rule that I thought was basically common sense to everyone. There will NOT be full out cyber in channel. No matter WHO does it, ops, patrons, what have you, it WILL be taken to a private channel or msg. It's understandable about making out and stuff like that but when it gets to the point of full out penetration and all that, it is to be taken out of channel. There are some people that would like to feel comfortable about entering without having to see that. This is common sense and a common curtesy about showing respect for another's place.
1} OOC (out of character comments) are to be kept at the barest minimum. Discussions, arguements and idle chatter must be taken to msg. Only items such as brb and back, and information pertaining to what is going on in the rp is tolerable and kept in brackets (blah blah) also, any ooc insults will not be tolerated. Involved will be a warning and kick. 3rd time you will be banned.

2} We do not condone nuking here. No speak of nukes in channel. Nukers will be banned, plain and simple.
3} Idling will not be allowed. If you are stagnant for 30 minutes you will receive a warning. After 45 minutes of unresponsiveness or roleplaying, you will be kicked. Those with the autorejoin set on their scripts will have a 1 minute ban.
4} No god characters or anyone too powerful for the channel. These characters are not looked upon lightly, and will result in a kick after one warning. After 3 kicks there will be a one week ban. Repeat offenders will be banned permenantly. (everyone has a weakness, a chink in their armor that is their downfall.)
5} No autohits or autoactions. (ex: *soandso hits whoever in the mouth busting out his/her teeth. <instead do something like this *soandso swings a heavy fist towards whoever's face. <also, no *soandso grabs whoever and drags them out the door and locks it. <should be *soandso grabs whoever's arm and starts towards the door, dragging them.) for every action there is an equal or opposite reaction.

Fights, Fights can start in the main channel like all fights do, though
the fight must be moved to #Outside*De before it gets out of hand, if
you don't you'll be warned once, before being removed by the nominated
Bouncers...
No this does not mean you'll be kicked from channel, or banned even but your character
will be thrown out, though, if you persist in fighting
inside, you'll be warned to take it outside Out Of Character, if you
still persist, you'll be kicked.
7} We would honestly prefer that the 6 Kindred Traditions be upheld in here (ops have a zip file of how to start a char, clans, traditions etc. would be advisable that you ask for one) but we also know that any kindred that are not part of the camarilla, obstinantly choose not to.
8} There are to
be absolutely no kindred or clanned characters under
generation 7, anything lower then this must have permission by a 450+
op.
9} No Clicker
Syndrome, in other words you need to know and have a rough
idea on how you do all your actions eg. /me clicks his fingers and
suddenly such and such loves him, or such and such gives him all their
money, it doesn't happen, if you need information on clans or their
abilities, there are plenty of links and sites on the web.
10} Op's have
*final* say, No but's or if's, argueing it out in channel is
not going to help get anyone on your side or help your case, all it does
is ruin roleplay, so if an op does something you don't approve of then
please, make sure you have everything logged and then take your case up
with a 450+ op, or someone who has a larger access then the accused op.
11} This is an rp channel and that entails one thing, ROLEPLAYING. If you do not roleplay then you really should not be here. Excessive ooc with be taken to our sister channel, #starrbutts_cafe. No excuses like , but my friends are here. If they are that's good, but, rp sometimes. Also, if you only ooc, then you have no right in complaining about characters. Some exceptions to this are, you are new and you are trying to get a feel for the channel.
12} If something in channel has
upset you, please step away from the computer and take a
deep breath then go to an op and discuss it with them if you cannot calmly discuss it with
the person you are upset at. Remember, this is just fantasy, not reality.
13}We are loosely based on white wolf gaming, please treat it as such. Since we are a freeform channel, that means that things can be changed and such but not to the point of god character creation.. use your head. Who wants to play with someone who reacts to nothing because he/she cannot be hurt by anything?
14} Oh one more thing, No one here is a real vampire. We don't need people coming in and telling us that we are crazy because we think we are vampires. We are a group of people that enjoy roleplaying the supernatural. So if you are just coming in to bug us, stay out.
